President of Tatarstan meets with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Slovenia Republic to RF

President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov has met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Slovenia Republic to the Russian Federation Ada Filip Slivnik.

The meeting was held in the RT President’s room at the Kazan Kremlin.

The State Council Chairman Farid Mukhametshin, Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of industry and trade Ravil Zaripov, Director of the Department for external relations under the RT President – Aide to RT President Iskander Muflikhanov took part in the meeting.

Issues of developing mutually beneficial relations between Slovenia and Tatarstan as a Russian region were discussed during the conversation.
Rustam Minnikhanov believes that foreign trade turnover of Tatarstan and Slovenia should be expanded. He hopes that with the help of the Embassy of the Slovenia Republic in Russia activity in this sphere will be intensified.

To the point, Ms Ada Filip Slivnik is in Kazan to take part in the session of scientific technical council of OJSC “Kazan scientific and research Institute of aviation technology” (Exhibition center “Kazanskaya yarmarka”). Ms Ambassador is going to held several meetings at the Ministry of industry and trade, and visit high technology technopark IT-park.
