Rustam Minnikhanov: ICL-КПО ВС must become a global company

The Tatarstan leadership considers ICL-КПО ВС one of the leading companies in the republican IT sector and is willing to render support in its development and entrance to global markets, President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov said at a meeting with members of ICL-КПО ВС Board.
Vice-premier – Minister of informatization and communications of Tatarstan Roman Shaikhutdinov, Minister of economy Midkhat Shagiakhmetov, Minister of education and science Albert Gilmutdinov attended the meeting.
The Tatarstan President greeted members of the board in Kazan and said he hopes they would appreciate results of work of ICL-КПО ВС management in 2011. In his opinion, the company does much work in the sphere of business development and realizes a lot of ambitious projects.
“We should continue maintaining and developing this activity. You must become a global company and we must support you. Personal training, work for and in partnership with global companies should be main lines of development. Besides, electronic services are more in-demand in state structures,” the RT President addressed members of ICL-КПО ВС Board.
Chairman of the board Niv Spelman told Rustam Minnikhanov about global plans of Fujitsu group which includes the Tatarstan enterprise. She said ICL-КПО ВС plays an important role for Fujitsu as one of the most perspective growth points.
The company’s Director General Viktor Diachkov told about outcomes of the company’s work in 2011. The export made 20 % of proceeds, 39 % is the share of Tatarstan. However, the largest Tatarstan companies do not actively use services of ICL-КПО ВС.
Rustam Minnikhanov suggested making presentation of opportunities at one of the sessions of “Tatneftekhiminvest-holding” Board. Speaking about global prospects, he offered the company’s management to become the resident of a new innovative town Innopolis.
According to the Tatarstan President, Innopolis will become the center of IT-industry in Russia, and top management of ICL-КПО ВС should seriously think about the company’ expansion within the framework of this newly created town.
On 9 May Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin took part in a ceremony of laying flowers to the monument “The victorious soldier” dedicated to the celebrations of the Day of Victory in the Great Patriotic War (WW II) 1941-1945 and held at Arsk cemetery in Kazan.
On 8 May, speaking at a meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with participation of the Acting Chairman of the State Council of the republic Marat Akhmetov and the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin, the Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector of the republic Marat Ayzatullin reported that capital overhaul of social facilities is in full swing in the republic with 170 educational facilities having been included into regional and federal programmes.
On 4 May at a briefing held in the Tatarstan Government House it was told that currently there are 92 combat veterans, the last witnesses of the Great Patriotic War (WW II) of 1941-1945, living in the republic. The briefing also informed about veterans’ support measures and how the republic is planning to celebrate the Victory Day on 9 May.
The Deputy Prime Minister of the republic Leyla Fazleeva told that names of 353 Heroes of the Soviet Union from Tatarstan “ are immortalized in street names, on memorials, in monuments and squares and, of course, in our memory”. “The Victory Day is the day of memory, mourning and joy. It is the event which today should be clearly understandable to all young people and younger generation of Tatarstan,” she said.
