Realization of program of Tatarstan’s social and economic development discussed at the Government House

Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov held a meeting on realization of the program of Tatarstan’s social and economic development for 2011-2015 at the RT Government House.

Opening the meeting, Ildar Khalikov reminded that Tatarstan was one of the first regions in Russia to start arrangement of long-term plans and programs.

Much emphasis was put on programs of social and economic development, he said. Another program aimed at creation of comfortable and favorable environment in every industry for 2011-2015 was approved last year.

The Tatarstan PM presented main figures within the program. Thus, by 2015 gross regional product per capita at purchasing parity is to reach 35 thousand US dollars, the share of processing economic sectors - 25 %, the share of non-resource produce - 30 %, the share of small and medium-size business – 34 %. Average duration of life is to make 74 years in 2015, average salary – 40 000 roubles, provision with living area – 26,5 m² per one citizen. Volume of direct foreign investments per capita should exceed 1500 US dollars. All republican settlements must be provided with hard-surface roads.

Head of the republican Government noted that dynamics of 2011 and beginning of 2012 confirms the opportunity of teaching most planned figures.
