18 July 2012, Wednesday

“JSC “Sberbank of Russia” is willing to provide funding for several projects of the Tatarstan Investment and Venture Fund,” the Tatarstan Prime Minster Ildar Khalikov said at a meeting with President of investment company “Troika Dialog” and one of the founders of the “Skolkovo” business school Ruben Vardanian.

The meeting was held at the RT Government House. The parties discussed issues of further interaction, including realization of investment projects and educational programs.

Ildar Khalikov noted that specialists of the RT Investment and Venture Fund and Sberbank of Russia would consider investment projects and their funding in the nearest time. As for cooperation in the sphere of educational programs, several specialists from Tatarstan already undergo training at the “Skolkovo” business school and demonstrate high levels of qualification and English language proficiency.

“We are especially glad that government employees also undergo training at Skolkovo. They will use the acquired knowledge at work for the benefit of city and republic,” Ruben Vardanian said.

Ildar Khalikov commented on the information regarding possible retirement of the RT Minister of education and science Albert Gilmutdinov appeared in mass media.

“Media companies can suggest any versions, but I can say that Tatarstan Government has no plans connected with retirement of RT Minister of education and science. Moreover, I suppose that Albert Gilmutdinov has done a lot for development and realization of the program “Kilechek” (future). The program helped to considerably increase salaries of education workers, create favourable environment for teachers’ work and encourage their professional activity and training.
As for Algarysh staff training and retraining program, the inspection conducted by the Accounts chamber revealed some shortcomings. The Ministry of education and science admitted mistakes, and employees responsible for certain activities were punished.”
