President of Russia Vladimir Putin discuss social and economic situation in the region with the Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov

Priority tasks faced by the Tatarstan leadership are improvement of the social standards of living, growth of citizens’ well-being and development of the innovative sector. The Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov has made such a statement at a recent meeting with the Russian President Vladimir Putin.
To the point, Vladimir Putin has discussed social and economic situation in the region with the Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and republic’s citizens representing business society, education and health care industries.
The meeting was of informal type and was attended by Mullakhmetov Ainur, 1st class design engineer at JSC KAMAZ scientific technical center; Stanichenko Nailya, cardiologist and chief of the department №1 at the RT GAUZ (State Autonomous Health Care Institution) “Emergency hospital”, Naberezhnye Chelny; Stolyarenko Svetlana, mother of many children; Suleimanov Ilnar, Chief of the farm “Saban 1”, Pestretsy; Tumanin Viktor, Chairman of Executive committee of the Tatarstan’s movement of young scientists and specialists, Deputy Director of the institute of history of the Kazan federal university, candidate of historical sciences.
On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “
Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
