Rustam Minnikhanov takes part in presentation of high-speed train that will be travelling between Kazan international airport and the city center

The Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov is on a working trip in Moscow. He has seen the presentation of a high-speed train that will be travelling between Kazan international airport and the Kazan railway station in the context of intermodal transport project.
Presentation of a high-speed train was held at the Leningrad railway station in Moscow with participation of officials of JSC “Russian railways”, RF Ministry of transport, RT Ministry of transport and road construction. Government officials were first passengers on a high-speed modern train.
To the point, JSC “Russian railways” signed the contract with Siemens for supply of electric trains Siemens Desiro Rus for aeroexpress trains to provide services for guests and participants of Winter Olympic Games in Sochi in 2014.
JSC “Russian railways” also plans using nonelectrified models of Siemens Desiro Rus to implement the project of intermodal transport in Kazan. Intermodal transportations will provide fast transfer of guests and participants of Universiade 2013 from the international airport. For passengers of modern electric trains Siemens Desiro Rus travel time will make 20 minutes.
On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “
Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
