Rustam Minnikhanov meets with president of SAP EMEA Frank Cohen

The Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov has met with president of SAP EMEA Frank Cohen (Europe, the Middle East and Africa) at the RT Government House.
The parties discussed a number of issues, in particular, cooperation in the sphere of decisions for the republican state sector (management for emergency situations, educational sphere, strategic management of the region, proposals on support and development of small and medium-size business).
Welcoming guests, Rustam Minnikhanov reminded that Russia had joined WTO and it requires compliance with all global standards.
Frank Cohen noted that SAP had long been working with the Tatarstan enterprises and the region is known for high level of automatization and wide development of innovations. “We are ready to work with republic on the highest level, we will involve best specialists from SAP CIS, our European colleagues, international experts, SAP Labs and Skolkovo resources,” Frank Cohen said. He informed that in the nearest time the company is going to invest in innovative projects of republic.
The meeting was attended by Ishkhan Kazinyan, Deputy Director General of SAP CIS, and Anton Tataurov, Director for interaction with state authorities of SAP CIS.

On 1 April Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and Russian Minister of Healthcare Mikhail Murashko introduced Ayrat Farrakhov, who was appointed the Acting Rector of Kazan State Medical University (KSMU) to its staff.

Leyla Fazleeva holds a meeting of the commission under the Rais of Tatarstan on the Russian language
On 31 March in the Government House of the republic Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva hold a meeting of the Commission on the Russian language under the Rais of Tatarstan, which considered key issues of supporting and developing Russian language, including new educational initiatives and discussed programmes of popularization of Russian literature and activities to preserve the language heritage.

On 28 March, speaking at a meeting held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin in the Government House of the republic with participation of the Acting Chairman of the State Council of the republic Marat Akhmetov and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources Azat Ziganshin informed that the regional central cleaning up action will be held in the republic on 25 April and clarified that the location of the national cleanup day will be announced later as the site will be chosen taking into account the opinions of Tatarstan residents.
On 28 March, speaking at a meeting held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin in the Government House of the republic with participation of the regional and the Acting Chairman of the State Council of the republic Marat Akhmetov and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Deputy Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Damir Shaydullin informed about statistics on the collection of utility bills payments from the population and data on the payment discipline of enterprises and organizations of the republic.
