Rustam Minnikhanov launches campaign “Help to prepare for school”

Republican charitable campaign “Help to prepare for school” has started in Tatarstan again. President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov has launched the campaign in Naberezhnye Chelny. Chiefs of republican municipalities, enterprises, children with their parents attended the solemn ceremony.
“We started this campaign in 2007. Since then, 15-20 % of pupils have obtained support to prepare for school. I suppose it is the right campaign, because children have nothing to do with the problem that parents do not have the same resources. At the same time, our municipalities and enterprises can support children,” the Tatarstan President said.
Rustam Minnikhanov reminded that significant changes have happened in republic in the sphere of school education. “We need highly skilled specialists all investors always ask us about. I suppose we have to support all initiatives in school education,” Rustam Minnikhanov said.
“During this month the campaign “Help to prepare for school” will be held in republic and I hope none of the children will be ignored,” the President stressed.
Then, Rustam Minnikhanov, Mayor of Naberezhnye Chelny Vasil Shaikhraziev handed rucksacks, sports gear and certificates for purchasing school accessories to children from large families.
On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “
Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
