Ildar Khalikov meets with Consul General of Turkish Republic in Kazan Akhmet Akynty

Tatarstan’s Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov has met with Consul General of Turkish Republic in Kazan Akhmet Akynty at the RT Government House.
The parties discussed issues of further cooperation between the Turkish Republic and the Republic of Tatarstan as a Russian region.
According to Ildar Khalikov, multi-industry cooperation has been established with Turkey, in particular, in cultural, economic, and sport spheres. “Turkey takes the first place in Tatarstan by the number of companies with foreign capital,” Ildar Khalikov said. He also noted that all arrangements reached with the Turkish Republic on political and business levels are always realized.

On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.

On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
