Rustam Minnikhanov meets with chief of Bombardier company

President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and Vice President of Asset Management at Bombardier Rod Sheridan have discussed issues of mutually beneficial cooperation. The meeting took place at the RT Government House with participation of Tatarstan’s Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov, Minister of industry and trade Ravil Zaripov, and others.
Rustam Minnikhanov noted that Tatarstan had become one of the regional service platforms of Bombardier. The authorized service center of the Canadian engineering company opened on the territory of TulparTechnic.
“Opening of such a center means that you have serious intentions and we need to develop our relationships,” Rustam Minnikhanov said. He thanked Bombardier management for cooperation saying he is sure that new center will service the Bombardier aircraft park with a high level of reliability and quality.
Rod Sheridan made a short presentation for attendees of the meeting, told about new aircrafts, use of composite materials in their production and prospects of the Russian aviation market. In particular, he noted that cooperation with “Ak Bars aero” is efficiently developing.
On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “
Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
