Meeting of the Board of Directors of JSC " Tatneftekhiminvest - holding " was held today by RT President - Chairman of the Board of Directors R.Minnikhanov. The meeting was held at the RT House of the Government.
Sergei Chvalun – The Head of Laboratory of "Scientific Research Institute of Physical Chemistry named after L.Y. Karpov "(Moscow), made a report on the classification of biodegradable polymers and the use of new advanced nanocomposites of wide range application.
R. Minnikhanov proposed the creation of a working group with the participation of specialists of the Institute named after LY Karpov and design, research and chemical institutes of the Republic of Tatarstan to explore the possibilities of appliance advanced nanocomposites in construction and road building industries. Head of the republic said that Tatarstan - the largest producer of polymers in the country and we need to develop this area.
The representative of the "Dupont» (DuPont) company Taras Chumakov made a report on manufacturing acrylonitrile and fibers on its basis.
Acrylonitrile is basis of poliakrilnitril fiber. Taras Chumakov reminded that the special economic zone "Alabuga" placed the "Alabuga-fiber" - plant for production of carbon fiber, which is the raw material for polyacrylonitrile. In addition, he said, LLC "Saratovorgsintez." carries the supply of acrylic fiber.

On 13 January, speaking about New Year events at a briefing in the Government House of the republic, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva informed that more than 8 thousand topical events were held during New Year holidays in the republic.
