Today the solemn opening of Ice Palace "Pestretsy arena" took part in Pestrechinsky municipal district of Tatarstan. The opening ceremony of the sports facility was attended by President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, State Secretary - Deputy Minister of Sport of the Russian Federation Natalia Parshikova, Minister of Youth, Sports and Tourism Rafis Burganov and many others.
Rustam Minnikhanov in his welcoming speech congratulated all residents with the opening of the Ice Palace, and noted that this is the 36th ice object in the Republic of Tatarstan. The President also emphasized that the palace should work from the morning until late at night, so that athletes can achieve good results.
The head of the Pestrechinsky municipal district of RT Shayhulla Nasybullin noted that face of the district is changing every day. "Now, even in the heat of summer, our athletes will be able to play and train on the ice," - said the head of the district. Natalia Parshikova also stressed that only Tatarstan has so many ice rinks. "No wonder why the team" Ak Bars" is one of the leading teams in Russia. Maybe the guys who will be trained in this arena then will play for the "Ak Bars", - said Natalia Parshikova.
Tatarstan President gave the Ice Palace certificate for 100 thousand rubles for the purchase of sports equipment. Today, during the working visit to the Pestrechinsky municipal district Rustam Minnikhanov visited JSC "poultry complex" Ak Bars ", in particular, plant of growing broilers # 4. The general director of "poultry complex" Ak Bars " Ilham Kashapov, noted that today 14 poultry houses are already put into operation, 10 poultry houses settled with the broilers. Four more will be settled in September. It is planned that this site will produce about seven tons of poultry meat per year.
At the end of his visit to the Pestrechinsky municipal district Rustam Minnikhanov visited the secondary school № 2, where he got acquainted with the statment of school after the renovation, talked with teachers and students, and awarded the school with a certificate for the purchase of interactive complex.
On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.

On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
