President of Tatarstan presents keys from 31 UAZ cars to republican foresters

In the run-up to the Day of forest workers, the President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov presented keys from 31 UAZ cars to local forest services and Lubyansk forestry college for organising forest fire protection and conducting state forest control on the territory of the forest fund.
According to the Tatarstan Minister of forestry Nail Magdeev, forest workers need these cars to prevent different violations in the industry.
The Tatarstan President said that the republican leadership pays much attention to the forestry sector. He also noted that there are both forest-rich and forest-poor regions in republic.
“If we cannot preserve forests in the 21st century, it speaks about our inefficiency. However, it has nothing to do with Tatarstan. We will not let such wealth disappear,” Rustam Minnikhanov said.
The RT President noted that modern conditions, such as development of industrial centers and cities, bring certain problems to the industry. But nevertheless, we must work for the good of forests and the forestry sector.
Rustam Minnikhanov also visited the photo exhibition “Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan: yesterday, today, tomorrow.”
On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “
Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
