Ildar Khalikov: Tatarstan investment sites offer young people opportunities for self-realisation

New Tatarstan projects aimed at attracting international investments improve business climate in republic and offer young people opportunities for self-realisation, the Tatarstan PM Ildar Khalikov stated at I Moscow International Foreign Investments Forum.
To the point, the event is held on October 17-18, 2012 in Moscow, Lotte Hotel Moscow.
“The experience we obtained upon realisation of investment projects shows that a competent team, good infrastructure, transparency and accurate work with investors yield results,” Head of the Tatarstan Government said.
Ildar Khalikov provided an example of Kama industrial park “Master”. For nine months of 2012 the project revenue has made 641 mln US dollars. The average area of the park is 430 thousand m².
Another successful project is technopark “Idea”, Ildar Khalikov said. For nine months of 2012 the project revenue has made 80 mln US dollars.
“It is a unique project that helped many talented Tatarstaners realise their ideas,” Head of the Tatarstan Government said.
Further, he mentioned one more ambitious project – construction of innovation satellite city “Innopolis” that will be located near Kazan, at one of the best sites provided with necessary utilities and infrastructure. According to preliminary estimates, investments in the project can make 100-120 bln roubles.
“In spite of all achievements, we always seek for the ways to improve business climate in Tatarstan and exchange experience in the sphere of attraction of investments with other Russian regions,” the Tatarstan PM said.
On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “
Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
