Board Chairman of OAO "ROSNANO" Anatoly Chubais has visited Himgrad technopolis during his working trip to Kazan. Heads of regions – members of the Association of innovative regions of Russia participated in the excursion around technopolis.
Guests were accompanied by the Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov.
Board Chairman of OAO Himgrad Albert Karimov said that 1 bln roubles of budget funds have been invested in creation of technopolis infrastructure since 2007. At the same time, the sum of private investments in production startup made up 5 bln roubles.
Earnings of resident enterprises are expected to make 12 bln roubles in 2012. 6 thousand employees currently work at the technopolis enterprises. In general, it is planned to provide 10 thousand work places and obtain 1 bln dollars of annual proceeds.
“Danaflex-nano”, one of the major companies, was presented to Anatoly Chubais and other guests.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “
Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
On 1 December Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin took part in N.I. Lobachevsky Prize and Medal Award Ceremony held in Kazan Federal University and handed in the award to the Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Chief Researcher of the St. Petersburg Department of Steklov Mathematical Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences Sergei Ivanov who was awarded for the outstanding achievements in fundamental and applied mathematics.
