Rustam Minnikhanov: “Maisky” greenhouse is a very innovative company”

The greenhouse “Maisky” is one of the biggest and most innovative enterprises in Russia, the Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov said at the opening ceremony of new greenhouse department.
Vice-premier and Minister of agriculture and foodstuff Marat Akhmetov, head of the Zelenodolsk region Sergei Batin were present at the solemn event.
New greenhouses providing most comfortable conditions for growing cucumbers and tomatoes have been built for less than one year.
The Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov noted that “Maisky” was one the biggest greenhouse complexes in Russia and Europe.
Rustam Minnikhanov thanked company’s executives and workers. He expressed special gratitude to builders who had managed to construct new greenhouses for a short period of time.
The Tatarstan President also got familiar with use of LED lamps instead of usual sodium lamps that enable saving a considerable amount of energy.
On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “
Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
