Rustam Minnikhanov visits largest industrial park in Dubai DuBiotech

On May 1 during the working trip to United Arab Emirates Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov visited largest industrial park in Dubai - DuBiotech.
Dubai Biotechnology and Research Park is the world’s first special economic zone in the sphere of biomedicine. TECOM Investments is the managing company and the investor.
There are 95 residents on its territory, among which are Pfizer, Amgen, Merck Serono, Genzyme, Bristol-Myers, Squibb Firmenich. Main activities of the companies are research, manufacturing of high-tech produce, equipment analysis and testing, sales and marketing, presentation of medical equipment, packing services and logistics.
DuBiotech cooperates with Frankfurt Biotechnology Innovation Centre and Swiss Biotech Association.
Rustam Minnikhanov got familiar with DuBiotech infrastructure. DuBiotech is a good example of how a free economic zone became one of the world’s best within seven years, he said.
Such success was achieved due to special features of UAE legislation which provides favourable conditions for attraction of foreign capital and a developed infrastructure.
Tatarstan should adopt experience of DuBiotech complex, Rustam Minnikhanov said.
On 21 November in his address dedicated to the Day of the Tax Authorities Employee of the Russian Federation, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin congratulated employees and old stagers of Tax services with their professional holiday and said:
On 15 November, speaking at regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with participation of the Prime Minister of the republic Aleksey Pesoshin and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin informed that 3m 144 thousand square meters of housing or 96% of the year plan have been commissioned in Tatarstan.
On 11 November Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and the Chief Federal Inspector for the republic Viktor Demidov took part in a videoconference reception of citizens held by Russian Presidential Envoy in the Volga Federal District Igor Komarov which considered an issues of capital overhaul of the therapeutic wing of the inpatient department of the Aksubaevo Central District Hospital which was built in 1996 in the urban-type settlement of Aksubaevo (Tatarstan).
On November 11, speaking at a briefing in the Government House of the republic, Director of the Multifunctional Centre for State and Municipal Services in Tatarstan Lenara Muzafarova advised residents to use chat-bot in MAX messenger to make an appointment at the Multifunctional Centre offices.
