On August 30, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov accompanied by Chief of Staff of Tatarstan President Asgat Safarov, Aide to Tatarstan President Leila Fazleeva, Kazan Mayor Ilsur Metshin, members of Russian State Duma and other officials took part in events dedicated to the Republic Day.

On August 30, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Russian Minister of Transport Maksim Sokolov opened the second construction stage of the bridge over the Kama River.

On August 27, upon his arrival on a working visit in Yutazinsky municipal region, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov accompanied by Head of the region Rustem Nuriyev and Executive Director of Tatarstan President State Housing Foundation Talagat Abdullin headed for Solnechniy township in Urussu village to congratulate 36 families of the village which moved to new flats from dilapidated houses under the regional programme.

On August 26, at a meeting at the Tatarstan Government House, speaking about a pilot project “Business class”, the President of the republic Rustam Minnikhanov expressed his dissatisfaction with low interest of Tatarstan business in industry-specific knowledge. Tatarstan Government, Sberbank and Google offered businessmen of the republic to take part in the project for free.
