Experts of the International Council on Monuments and Sites (ICOMOS), advisory body of the UNESCO World Heritage Committee, Mr Visy Zsolt and Mr Gergely Nagy are staying in Tatarstan. They arrived in order to visit the ancient city of Bolgar and island town Sviyazhsk in the context of inclusion of these historical objects in the list of UNESCO World heritage sites.
Celebration in honour of veterans of state service of the Republic of Tatarstan was held within the framework of the International day for Older People at the National culture center “Kazan”.
VI Congress of Children's rights commissioners in RF subjects has opened at the Kazan City hall. President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov delivered a speech at the opening ceremony.
Engel Fattakhov has become new minister of education and science of the Republic of Tatarstan. Tatarstan’s PM Ildar Khalikov introduced new minister to the staff.
The Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov has met with President of the Russian Tennis Federation Shamil Tarpishev .Tatarstan’s Minister of youth affairs, sport and tourism Rafis Burganov, rector of the Volga academy of sport and tourism Yusup Yakubov took part in the meeting.

Kazan has been announced among Russian cities to host 2018 FIFA World Cup on Channel One Russia. The Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov participated in the announcement ceremony. FIFA President Joseph Blatter opened the ceremony in Moscow studio.

Session of the Council under RF Plenipotentiary in the Volga Federal District “On regional aspects of the state migration policy concept” was held in Saratov. President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov participated in the session that was chaired by Plenipotentiary of the President in VFD Mikhail Babich.
A regular session of OAO Tatneft Board of directors chaired by the Tatarstan President Rustam was held at the RT Government House today. Results of budget performance by the company for eight months of 2012 have been considered, budgets for October and the fourth quarter of the current year approved, and forecasts of financial and economic activity of the company for 2013 discussed.

Official meeting between President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and Prime Minister of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg Jean-Claude Juncker was held at the Kazan Kremlin within the official visit of the Luxembourg delegation to Russian Federation.
Prime Minister of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg Jean-Claude Juncker has visited the Kazan (Volga) federal university. He was accompanied by the Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov.
