Rustam Minnikhanov meets with Director for Russia and CIS at the World Economic Forum Anastassia Aubakirova

On July 8 Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov met with Director for Russia and CIS at the World Economic Forum Anastassia Aubakirova.
Anastassia Aubakirova conveyed greetings from the founder and President of the World Economic Forum Claus Schwab and wishes of successful holding of Universiade 2013. She presented a detailed plan of further cooperation between the World Economic Forum and Russia.
Anastassia Aubakirova informed that this year the World Economic Forum is going to expand cooperation with Russian regions and study economy of Russian subjects. Experts will study regional practices in some areas and their influence on regional economic growth.
In particular, they will consider business environment provided for investors. First results will be discussed in October in Moscow. The final report will be presented at the World Economic Forum in Davos.
Experts will study practices of Ulyanovsk region, Rostov, Tatarstan Republic and some other regions.
Today officials of the World Economic Forum will hold several meetings at Tatarstan ministries and visit High Technology Technopark “IT park”.
Tatarstan Minister of Industry and Trade Ravil Zaripov, Aide to Tatarstan President on foreign economic activity Radik Gimatdinov, Minister of Economy Midkhat Shagiakhmetov, Minister of Education and Science Engel Fattakhov took part in the meeting.

On 1 April Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and Russian Minister of Healthcare Mikhail Murashko introduced Ayrat Farrakhov, who was appointed the Acting Rector of Kazan State Medical University (KSMU) to its staff.
In his speech Mikhail Murashko emphasized that today KSMU is rightfully considered one of the most respected in the country and said:”Ayrat (Zakievich) has been officially appointed the Acting Rector and I am sure that under his leadership the University will maintain the positions it has achieved and, of course, will continue its development.”

Leyla Fazleeva holds a meeting of the commission under the Rais of Tatarstan on the Russian language
On 31 March in the Government House of the republic Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva hold a meeting of the Commission on the Russian language under the Rais of Tatarstan, which considered key issues of supporting and developing Russian language, including new educational initiatives and discussed programmes of popularization of Russian literature and activities to preserve the language heritage.

On 28 March, speaking at a meeting held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin in the Government House of the republic with participation of the Acting Chairman of the State Council of the republic Marat Akhmetov and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources Azat Ziganshin informed that the regional central cleaning up action will be held in the republic on 25 April and clarified that the location of the national cleanup day will be announced later as the site will be chosen taking into account the opinions of Tatarstan residents.
On 28 March, speaking at a meeting held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin in the Government House of the republic with participation of the regional and the Acting Chairman of the State Council of the republic Marat Akhmetov and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Deputy Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Damir Shaydullin informed about statistics on the collection of utility bills payments from the population and data on the payment discipline of enterprises and organizations of the republic.
