Dear officers and veterans of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Tatarstan!

On behalf of the Government of Tatarstan and on my own behalf, I congratulate you on your professional holiday - the Day of Internal Affairs Officers of the Russian Federation.

Over the years, the structure and names of the departments have changed, but the most important has remained unchanged: the staff of the internal affairs agencies always guard the rule of law, protect the life and peace of citizens, protect the interests of society and the State. It is you who embody law and justice.

In the current year, officials of the internal affairs agencies have done a lot to increase the efficiency of countering cybercrime, corruption, illicit drug trafficking and extremism. Considerable attention was paid to the control of migration processes, road safety issues and the crime prevention. Security and law and order have been fully ensured at major socio-political, cultural and sports events held in our republic.

I express my deep gratitude to veterans of the internal affairs agencies. You make a huge contribution to the development of young employees, transfer them rich experience, and provide full support to the families of the victims. The leadership of the republic sincerely thanks all employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the hard but noble work and dedication to the chosen cause.
