On August 30 Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov, Russian Deputy Minister of Natural Resources and Ecology – Head of Federal Forestry Agency Vladimir Lebedev, Minister of Forestry Nail Magdeev, Head of Sabinsky region Rais Minnikhanov took part in opening of new woodworking factory in Sabinsky region.
Wooden pallets, carving wood, wood powder and other items will be produced at the plant. Total sales are expected to make 535,7 mln rubles, total cost of the project realization - 741 mln rubles.
At first the guests visited forest seed production centre where they looked around the exposition of regional forestry industry, laid flowers to the monument of an honoured forester of Tatarstan and Russia Nurgali Minnikhanov, and visited museum of forestry. The main event was opening of woodworking complex. Speaking at the event, Ildar Khalikov and Vladimir Lebedev congratulated everyone on the Day of the Republic.
Russian Deputy Minister of Natural Resources and Ecology noted that at the meeting with Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov they discussed tasks faced by the industry.
On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “
Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
