Tatarstan President: "Police workers are our support"

On September 14 at a regional meeting headed by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov at Tatarstan Government House, Head of Ministry of the Interior Artem Khokhorin reported on the progress of construction of 82 houses for police workers in 39 municipalities within the framework of the complex crime prevention programme in Tatarstan.
Typical administrative and residential complexes are being constructed in rural regions under the programme using three main sources of funding.
Currently, Tatarstan State Housing Fund has allocated money on 21 houses which are under construction in 21 municipalities.
It was reported, that 20 houses in 18 municipalities are being constructed using the regional budget funds. According to the Minister, construction works are behind the schedule there.
The situation is more complicated in the regions where the construction is financed by municipalities.
Commenting on the situation, Tatarstan President noted that working efficiency of police workers depends on their constant presence at the police station. Therefore, it was decided to build administrative and residential complexes. "Police workers are our support," he added.
Rustam Minnikhanov asked to summarize information from the regions on construction of houses for police workers and discuss the problem with Tatarstan Government.
On May 6, speaking at a briefing held in the Government House of Tatarstan and dedicated to the issues of holding the sowing campaign in the republic, Deputy Prime Minister of the republic-Tatarstan Minister of Industry and Trade Marat Zyabbarov said that in the current year the sowing area will be 2.7 million hectares, which is at the level of last year, including 1.8 million hectares allocated for spring sowing.
On 2 May, speaking at a briefing in the Government House of the republic, the Head of Tatarstan Investments Development Agency Taliya Minullina said: “We already have nearly 11 thousand participants registered from 80 countries. We understand that this is not the limit. The registration ends on 6 May and we expect as usual that there will the increased number of participants.”
On 29 April Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin attended a rugby game between Strela Ak-Bars (Kazan) and Lokomotiv-Penza teams held at the Mordovia Arena stadium in Saransk with participation of 7 102 spectators.
On 24 April, speaking at a briefing dedicated to the preservation of cultural heritage sites and confined to the International Day of Historical Monuments and Sites held in the Government House of the republic, the Aid to the Rais of Tatarstan Olesya Baltusova informed that in 2024 the Rebus Forum will be held on 14-15 November. She reminded that in the current year the forum will be named “Aglomerations: Experience, Opportunities. Challenges” and will be held with participation of China “as it will take place during the ROSTCI Forum.”
