Judo tournament for the Cup of Chairman of Russian Investigation Committee opened in Kazan

On September 14 Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov and Senior Aide to Chairman of Russian Investigation Committee Igor Komissarov took part in opening of the 2nd All-Russia judo tournament for the Cup of Chairman of Russian Investigation Committee.
The event is dated to the memory of young knights of the Order of Courage (posthumously), the citizen of Noginsk town Zhenya Tabakov and the citizen of Naberezhnye Chelny town Danil Sadykov.
Igor Komissarov welcomed participants of the event on behalf of Chairman of Russian Investigation Committee. He also presented medal “For assistance” to Ildar Khalikov and leader of a volunteer organization “Vasilisa” Vera Rusina for her help in finding a criminal, who killed 8-year-old girl from Naberezhnye Chelny Vasilisa Galitsyna.
Head of Tatarstan Government said he was glad that Kazan had been chosen to hold the tournament.
Aide to Presidential Envoy in Volga Federal District Yury Zolotarev, Russian Deputy Minister of Defence Oleg Ostapenko and Russian cosmonaut Fedor Yurchikhin wished participants of the event fair and good competitions.
130 athletes aged 15-17 from 14 Russian regions will take part in the event.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “
Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
On 1 December Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin took part in N.I. Lobachevsky Prize and Medal Award Ceremony held in Kazan Federal University and handed in the award to the Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Chief Researcher of the St. Petersburg Department of Steklov Mathematical Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences Sergei Ivanov who was awarded for the outstanding achievements in fundamental and applied mathematics.
