Myanmar and Tatarstan Chambers of Commerce and Industry agree on cooperation

On September 23 during the visit of Tatarstan delegation led by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov to Myanmar, Myanmar and Tatarstan Chambers of Commerce and Industry signed Memorandum on mutual understanding.
The document was signed at a round table with participation of Tatarstan officials and Myanmar businessmen in Yangon at Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Rustam Minnikhanov thanked participants of the meeting for holding such a meeting and noted wide prospects of cooperation. He believes that produce of engineering industry, oil production and transportation may be in-demand in Myanmar.
Chairman of Tatarstan Chamber of Commerce and Industry Shamil Ageev invited Myanmar businessmen to visit Tatarstan and learn more about its industrial potential.
Myanmar and Tatarstan economic potential and a video about Tatarstan "We can!" were presented during the round table.
Memorandum on mutual understanding between Myanmar and Tatarstan Chambers of Commerce and Industry was signed in presence of Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, Ambassador of Russia to Myanmar Vasily Pospelov, Minister of Commerce Win Myint, Minister of Finance and revenue Win Shein.
The parties expressed confidence that signing of this document will favour rapid development of trade and economic relations between Myanmar and Tatarstan.
On 8 April at their meeting in Innopolis Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Roman Shaykhutdinov and a delegation from the Russian Satellite Communications Company (RSCC) headed by the Company’s Director General Aleksey Volin discussed possible spheres of their interaction.
On 5 April, speaking at a meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector of the republic Marat Ayzatullin reported about work progress in housing construction, programmes of ensuring accommodation to certain groups of citizens and other events.
Having told about cases of occupational injuries and checks of construction sites carried out in the first three months of the current year, Marat Ayzatullin said that 1m 473 thousand square meters of housing, including commercial, multi-apartment, social mortgage and individual houses, have been already commissioned in the republic which makes 45 per cent of the planned.
On 1 April by an errand from the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhnov, the Prime Minister of the republic Aleksey Pesoshin and the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Rais of the republic Asgat Safarov came on a working trip to towns of Lisichansk and Rubezhnoye where they got acquainted with restoration work progress at some facilities such as a school and a hospital catering unit.
They also evaluated the work progress at the recovery work at the boiler house which supplies heat to social and residential facilities.
On 1 April at a briefing held in Tatarstan Government House, the Director of the Investments Venture Fund of the republic Damir Galiev and the Director General of the Idea Technical Park Dias Safin told journalists about work progress in preparing the XIX Russian Venture Forum to be held on 9-11 April at the Kazan Expo.
They informed that in 2025 the forum will propose a renovated programme and the international speakers list, with the business programme comprising more than 50 events and 20 additional presentations in eight topical spheres. More than 260 speakers from Austria, Belarus, Bahrain, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar and Uzbekistan will take part in the discussions and the plenary session with the Russian Minister of Education and Science Valeriy Falkov, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, the Director General of the RWK Anatoliy Braverman and other important officials expected to take part in it.
