Myanmar and Tatarstan Chambers of Commerce and Industry agree on cooperation

On September 23 during the visit of Tatarstan delegation led by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov to Myanmar, Myanmar and Tatarstan Chambers of Commerce and Industry signed Memorandum on mutual understanding.
The document was signed at a round table with participation of Tatarstan officials and Myanmar businessmen in Yangon at Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Rustam Minnikhanov thanked participants of the meeting for holding such a meeting and noted wide prospects of cooperation. He believes that produce of engineering industry, oil production and transportation may be in-demand in Myanmar.
Chairman of Tatarstan Chamber of Commerce and Industry Shamil Ageev invited Myanmar businessmen to visit Tatarstan and learn more about its industrial potential.
Myanmar and Tatarstan economic potential and a video about Tatarstan "We can!" were presented during the round table.
Memorandum on mutual understanding between Myanmar and Tatarstan Chambers of Commerce and Industry was signed in presence of Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, Ambassador of Russia to Myanmar Vasily Pospelov, Minister of Commerce Win Myint, Minister of Finance and revenue Win Shein.
The parties expressed confidence that signing of this document will favour rapid development of trade and economic relations between Myanmar and Tatarstan.
On 19 December before the beginning of the XIX congress of the Association of the Tatarstan Council of Municipalities, the Prime Minister of the republic Aleksey Pesoshin took part in the All-Russia charity action “The Fir Tree of Wishes” and took post cards with wishes of six children from the New Year tree.
On 14 December, speaking at a regular meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Agriculture and Food Marat Zyabbarov reported about sales of agricultural products manufactured by small farms and the most wide-spread electronic platforms for their sales.
On December 10, speaking at a briefing in the Government House of the republic, Director General of the Gazprom Transgas Kazan Rustem Usmanov said that in Tatarstan, the gas supply programme has reached 28,8 thousand plots of land, including 81 per cent of households have already been connected. The average percentage in Russia is much lower.
In total, over 34,000 applications have been submitted under the programme for additional gasification of households in Tatarstan since 2021, and 32.8 thousand contracts have been concluded under them.
