Roman Shaykhutdinov congratulates residents of Verkhny Uslon on Tatar national holiday Sabantuy
On June 8, Deputy Prime Minister of Tatarstan Roman Shaykhutdinov took part in the festival «Sabantuy 2024» in the Verkhny Uslon municipal region of Tatarstan and together with the head of the region Marat Ziatdinov visited the sites of the «Cities of Masters», attended karting and tourist lane competitions and handed in awards to agricultural leaders.
Roman Shaykhutdinov conveyed congratulations to the residents of the region from the Rais of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov: “Sabantuy is a holiday with a unique atmosphere of creativity and openness. From year to year, its colorful Maidan becomes a center of unity and cultural mutual enrichment of people of different ages, nationalities and religions.
In addition, Sabantuy is a meeting place for family and friends, which makes it the most family and warm holiday. I am sure that in the Year of the Family, this acquires special significance, contributes to strengthening our traditional values. I am convinced that this holiday will be a significant event in the life of all Tatarstan resident, will provide an excellent opportunity to once again touch the origins of their native culture again and enjoy communication with each other”.
During the holiday, national wrestling competitions, sports games and a concert were also held in Verkhny Uslon.
