Tatarstan continues work by the Our Yard programme with some kinds of activities going with delay

On 20 July, speaking at a meeting held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Director of the Fund “The Institute of Development of Tatarstan Cities” Nailya Zinatullina reported about work being done by the Our Yard programme.

Thus she informed that the total work of completed road work makes 64 per cent of the planned, which is by 12% lower compared to the planned, the installation of street lighting is going on in 22 regions of the republic and the yards under improvement, with 36 % of the work completed as of 17 July.

Reporting about results of monitoring work drawbacks in the already improved yards, Nailya Zinatullina said that specialists of the Fund visited 16 regions of the republic having found such loose ends as low quality installation of street lighting poles and road construction waste left after workers.

She also told about monitoring of work quality at children’s playgrounds as special focus areas and said that drawbacks were found in all 13 inspected municipalities.

Nailya Zinatullina told about preparation of the Our Yard programme for 2025 and reminded that the deadline for submission the improvement schemes is 31 July and named the regions which have nor submitted the required materials yet.

In his turn Aleksey Pesoshin attracted attention to the fact that there is delay of the Our Yard programme not only from the amount of work planned for 2024 but also that done in 2023 and gave an errand to find the reasons for such delays.
