Mintimer Shaimiev holds session of Guardian Council of Regional Foundation “Revival"

On December 19 Tatarstan State Counsellor Mintimer Shaimiev held session of Guardian Council of Regional Foundation of Revival of Historical and Cultural Monuments of the Republic of Tatarstan. Results of this year’s activity of the foundation were summed up and next year’s events to be implemented in island town of Sviyazhsk and ancient town of Bolgar were discussed at the session.
Opening the session, Mintimer Shaimiev informed participants about changes in the composition of the Guardian Council. In particular, Chief of Staff of Tatarstan President’s Office Asgat Safarov was appointed Deputy Chairman of Guardian Council. Besides, Russian Research Institute for Cultural and Natural Heritage named after Dmitry Likhachev Pavel Yudin and Director of Interregional Scientific and Restoration Art Department of Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation Andrey Kozlov, State Counsellor of Justice of the 2nd class, Former Prosecutor of Tatarstan Kafil Amirov, Chairman of Spiritual Muslim Board of the Republic of Tatarstan Tatarstan Mufti Kamil hazrat Samigullin became new members of the Council.
Summing up this year’s activity of the Revival Foundation Mintimer Shaimiev said that the year is finishing with good results.

On 24 February during his working trip to Zelenodolsk region of the republic, the Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin took part in a joint meeting of the Council of Zelenodolsk Municipality and the Council of the town of Zelenodolsk dedicated to results of social and economic development of the region in 2024 and tasks for 2025 and held in the Center of Cultural Development of Zelenodolsk.
On 24 February during his working trip to Zelenodolsk region Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin together with the Head of the region Mikhail Afanasyev took part in a ceremony of handing in medals “80 years to the Victory in the Great Patriotic War (WWII)” to two war veterans, a residents of the blockaded Leningrad and the home front worker living in the region.

On 18 February during his working trip to the Village of Verkhniy Uslon Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin had a meeting with the home front worker Khazyar Shaykhlislamova, who was born on 26 December 1929 and during all years of the WWII worked as a milkmaid in the Izmerskiy sovkhoz, and handed her in a jubilee medal dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory.
