Making comments on the report on perspective polymers and opportunities in sphere of nanno-technologies made by Deputy Director of Topchev Institute of petrochemical synthesis (Moscow) Evgeni Antipov, Prime Minister of Tatarstan said that today more than ever it is important to establish partner relations with scientific research institutes - to enjoy competitive advantages and to be well informed about all new
development in the field of chemistry and petrochemistry.

Director General of the Kazan SK plant Alexei Konturov reported on prospects of development. He ascertained decrease in rates of production growth in the 4 quarter of 2008 (in 1-3 quarters a steady production growth was observed). Alexei Konturov informed that more than 45 % of production falls on thiokol, 29 % - silicon, 20 % - butadiene rubbers. In February, 2009, by his words, the deliveries of rubbers to China have been renewed.
