First Vice Premier of Tatarstan Ravil Muratov called to take up hard line regarding prices for socially significant goods and their qualities

Questions of interaction between local commodity producers with the trading network companies located in a territory of the Republic Tatarstan dure to be weekly discussed. Such a decision has been accepted in the RT Cabinet on results of the meeting chaired by RT First Vice Premier Ravil Muratov.
The main subject of the meeting became appeared to be pricing and quality of products on socially significant goods in retail trading networks of Tatarstan.
As RT Industry and Trade Deputy Minister Oleg Vlasov informed, for the first two months of 2009 a turnover of retail trade in the republic has made 59 billion rbl., growth in comparison with January-February, 2008 made only 3 %. For retail trade it is practically negative result, Oleg Vlasov said. According to the trading companies, trends to decrease in consumer demand, reduction of sales were outlined. Trading networks «Ramstor», «Grossmart» have stopped their activities. A format of marketplace is demanded more and more among the consumers.
In this context all is being done in the republic not to allow an unreasonable prices hiking. Especially it relates to the goods entering in « socially significant group » (milk and dairy products, bakery products, some kind of groats, etc.).
As Oleg Vlasov informed, a retail margin in trading networks on this goods remains minimal.
For ordering mutual relations of republican commodity producers and network companies-operators the measures on granting free access of local commodity producers in retail networks have been undertaken.
To remind, the agriculture of Tatarstan for today completely provides the population with the basic goods - bread and bakery products, milk and dairy products, vegetables, sugar.
Cost of the minimal set of products in Tatarstan remains to the lowest in Russia (in February, 2009 - 1795,8 rbl.).
The government of republic continues to conduct monitoring of wholesale and retail prices on products of social assortment.
RT First Deputy Prime Minister Ravil Muratov called at the meeting take up a hard line in questions of pricing on goods entering socially significant group. In his opinion, the retail trading companies should provide consumers of the republic with necessary output corresponding to standards of "price-quality".

On 24 April in the Government House of the republic, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin held a joint meeting the Council for Enforcement of Legislation of Languages of Tatarstan and the organizational committee for celebrations of the 140th birthday of Gabdulla Tukay which summarized results of work of the regional law enforcement on official languages of the republic and considered progress of the implementation of the plan of main events for preparation and celebration of the 140th birthday of Gabdulla Tukay .
On 21 April, speaking at a briefing in the Government House of the republic, the Head of the Russian Federal Tax Service for Tatarstan Marat Safiullin said that slightly more than one week is left to file an income tax return for 2025 with the tax service. According to the results of the tax campaign 5.5.bn rubles should come to the regional budget, he said and informed who should submit declarations and who is entitled to benefits.
On 13 April in his congratulatory address on the occasion of the Maecenas and Benefactor Day, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin congratulated residents of the republic with the event and wrote: "Tatarstan has always been known for its generous and kind-hearted people who are ready to help the needy and support important social, cultural and educational projects.
