Deputy Chairman of the Vnesheconombank Anatoly Ballo: “construction project of complex on production of ammonia, methanol and carbamide in Tatarstan becomes one of examples of the Russian-Japanese cooperation»

Construction project of a new integrated complex on production of ammonia, methanol and granulated carbamide in territory of Republic Tatarstan becomes one of examples of the Russian-Japanese economic cooperation. This was stated in Tokyo by Deputy Chairman of the Vnesheconombank Anatoly Ballo.

We remind, that the Russian delegation led by chairman of the Government of Russia Vladimir Putin makes a working visit to Japan for participation in the Russian-Japanese economic forum and conference of governors of Russia and Japan. In structure of the Russian delegation - Prime Minister of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, Chairman of JSC "Ammoni" board of directors Rinat Khanbikov, Aid to Prime Minister of Tatarstan on foreign trade activities Iskander Muflikhnaov and others.

During a visit the Memorandum of intentions between «Bank of development and foreign trade activities» ( Vnesheconombank), Investment-venture fund of Republic Tatarstan, JSC "Ammoni " and the companies «Mitsubishi Heavy Industries» and «Sojiz Corporation» on implementation of the construction project of new integrated complex on production of ammonia, methanol and granulated carbamide ( Mendeleevsk) has been signed.

As Deputy Chairman of the Vnesheconombank Anatoly Ballo stated upon termination of signing the document in interview to one of the Russian TV channels, such a scale project in Russia has not been created for about 30 years. As he said, construction of the project by JSC " Ammoni " becomes one of examples of the Russian-Japanese economic cooperation». Besides Anatoly Ballo noted, the project is remarkable that it «practically has no budgetary sources of financing». In realization of the project, besides others, means of other Japanese banks are involved , Mr. Ballo informed.
