Production of precision equipment to be launched in Smart City Kazan

A Russian company “Liontech” and a South Korean company “Mirae” are planning to build a plant for producing precision equipment for electronic industry at Smart City Kazan facilities.
Prospects of the project were discussed at the meeting of companies’ executives with Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov. Head of Laishevo region Mikhail Afanasiev, Director General of SEZ Innopolis Igor Nosov took part in the meeting.
The project implies production of precision equipment for the needs of electronic industry and launching of assembly production at the first stage. A training centre for specialists and development centre will be created afterwards.
The equipment to be produced at the plant will be used at electronic assembly lines and for producing LED equipment.
Welcoming the guests, Ildar Khalikov told about opportunities provided for investors in the republic.
He supported the investment project and entrusted relevant agencies and ministries with working out its further implementation.
On 2 March in her address on the occasion of the Mentor’s Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva congratulated residents of the republic with the event and wrote: “Since 2025 this holiday established by Russian President Vladimir Putin has occupied a worthy place in the calendar of significant dates of our country, emphasizing the high status and significance of the mentoring mission.
On 28 February, speaking at a meeting held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Director of the Fund “The Institute of Development of Tatarstan Cities” Nailya Nagumanova informed about preparation to the implementation of the Our Yard programme in the republic.

On 28 February, speaking at a meeting held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference , the Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector of the republic Marat Ayzatullin informed that 170 educational facilities will have capital overhaul by federal and regional programmes, having added that the bulk of the projects are planned to begin at the start of the summer holidays.
