Rustam Minnikhanov visits new painting finishing department of Kazan helicopters plant

On August 11, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov visited new painting finishing department of Kazan helicopters plant to see new modern equipment that was installed in the department, including seven paint drying units, special boxes to prepare helicopter coating for painting, equipment for automated control of temperature-humidity regime.
Director General of OAO “Kazan helicopters” Vadim Ligai told about new equipment. In particular, the cost of new equipment made 467 million roubles. Investments helped increasing the capacity by 1.5 times, and the painting process now takes 5 days instead of 9.
