Tatarstan is ready for heating season by 80 per cent

On August 19, at a briefing at Tatarstan Government House, Tatarstan Minister of Construction Irek Faizullin reported that as of August 15, 2014, 11,833 of 16,446 multi-apartment houses are ready for the next heating season in Tatarstan, which makes 80 per cent.
The Minister also reported on the readiness of social and cultural facilities for the heating season. In particular, he said that the work on the replacement of obsolete and worn-out boilers at social and cultural facilities is underway. The boilers will be replaced at 212 facilities in 30 municipalities. The Minister said that 380 of 383 boilers have been installed.
This year, the programme to replace street light poles in rural settlements was launched in Tatarstan. As much as 225 million roubles were allocated for its implementation.
The Minister reminded that this year 793 houses with an area of 4.8 million square meters were included in the capital repair programme. It is planned to include about 800 houses in the next year’s programme.
The speaker also said that 159 secondary schools are being repaired. The major repair works include repair of roofs, engineering services, facades, replacement of windows and bathrooms, etc. Currently, the repair works are in the final stage at 95 schools. All the school facilities will be ready by September 1, Irek Faizullin assured.
On May 26, speaking at a briefing in the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic held in a videoconference mode with participation of all municipal regions of Tatarstan and focused on events scheduled for June 1, International Children’s Day, as well as the implementation of the “Summer in Tatarstan” programme, Deputy Prime Minister of the republic Leyla Fazleeva appealed that parents should closely supervise their children during recreational activities near water in order to prevent accidents.
On 18 May ay the CIPR conference in Nizhniy Nogorod the Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Roman Shaykhutdinov, the Rector of the Innopolis University Aleksandr Gasnikpov and the Vice-rector of the University Yevgeny Bobrov will take part at round tables session of the conference.
Experts will discuss the role of Tatarstan and Innopolis as one of the key technological centers of the country and how regional innovative platforms help to solve tasks of the whole Russian industry. A special emphasis will be placed on the digital transformation of the oil and gas sector and how large clusters and scientific and technological centers are becoming drivers of industry change.
On 16 May, speaking at a meeting in the Government House of the republic held by the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin with participation of the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Minister of Agriculture and Food of the republic Marat Zyabbarov reported that the sowing of spring crops is in full swing in the republic with 1m 38 thousand hectares or 61 per cent of the planned have been sown.
On May 14, on the sidelines of the XVII International Economic Forum “Russia-the Islamic World: KazanForum”, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and Head of the Federal Service for Accreditation Dmitry Volvach signed an agreement on interaction and cooperation in the development of the halal industry.
