First Vice Premier of Tatarstan Boris Pavlov: within cooperation with state corporation “Rosnanotekh” Tatarstan promotes 41 projects on creation of industrial nanotechnologies with amount of financing 30 billion roubles

Boris Pavlov held session of interdepartmental working group on development of Tatarstan nanoindustry. Participants discussed the results of realization of complex project “Development of nanoindustry of Republic Tatarstan” for the first half-year 2009 and defined tasks for the second half-year.

Deputy Minister of education and science of Republic Tatarstan Vadim Khomenko, Vice President of Academy of sciences of Republic Tatarstan Askhat Gumerov, Director of Institute of chemistry and petrochemistry of Kazan state technological university Ildar Abdullin, pro-rector on academic and methodological work of A.N. Tupolev Kazan state technical university, pro-rector on innovative development - director of Engineering Economic Institute Gaziz Mingaleev, Deputy director general of JSC “Tatheftehiminvest-holding” Ilgizar Yakushev and other specialists took part in the meeting.

Boris Pavlov thanked all members of interdepartmental working group for productive joint work. First Vice Premier considers that currently systematic work and effective interaction with “Rosnanotekh” are well-organized in republic.

Thus, among priority projects for the second half-year 2009 Boris Pavlov noted development, coordination and approval of complex program of project development of nanoindustry in Tatarstan for 2009-2013 jointly with “Rosnanotekh” and other Russian financial institutes of development; development and coordination of complex interregional project “Creation of municipal unit “International centre of nanotechnologies”.
