Fifty joint-stock companies in Tatarstan with state share made decisions to pay dividends

RT First Deputy Minister of land and property relations Airat Nurutdinov informed at a traditional briefing in the RT Cabinet that about 940 mln. 760 thousand RUR entered the budget of Republic Tatarstan in a form of dividends from Tatarstan enterprises - joint-stock companies with state share property.

The briefing was devoted to results of holding annual meetings of companies’ shareholders.

By and large, 124 joint-stock companies in Tatarstan have state form of property, 24 of them have 100 % share of state property. According to results 2008 at meeting of shareholders of 50 companies took up the decision to pay dividends, 39 companies rejected to pay, 35 companies incurred losses in 2008.

Representatives of RT Ministry of land and property relations informed that in particular, JSC “Tatenergo” would pay 293 mln. roubles, JSC “Tatspirtprom” – 50 mln. roubles, “Idel-Press” – 5,6 mln. Thus, by results of 2008 it is planned to receive 435 mln. roubles from joint-stock companies. Budget task for 2009 is to receive 500 mln. roubles.

Share packages of 53 joint-stock companies are planned to be traded within the next years. Mainly, these are companies of communal services, water and heat networks.

By words of Airat Nurutdinov, none of companies’ share packages have been realized because the cost of shares considerably had decreased owing to financial crisis.
