Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov holds Board session of Tatneftekhiminvest Holding

On December 23, at Tatarstan Government House, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov chaired a board session Tatneftekhiminvest Holding.
Chief Designer of KAMAZ Scientific and Technical Center Andrey Savinkov made a report on the development of electrical vehicles, in particular about the Electrobus project. The project aims to create an eco-friendly bus on electricity, which will be charged at the existing stations for trolley buses. It also implies to assemble small electrobuses.
Rustam Minnikhanov noted that the main problem is a battery that is heavy and costly and recommended to draw attention to fuel elements. He also raised an issue about making bodies from composite material to reduce a vehicle weight by 25 per cent.
CEO of ICL-KPO VS Company Viktor Diachkov told about possible import-substitution of information technologies. The company provides IT-services and produces a line of computer equipment. Recently, ICL-KPO VS built a plant near Kazan (Usady town). Rustam Minnikhanov advised IT departments of large regional enterprises to develop a joint program of import-substitution, emphasizing information safety.
A list of raw hydrocarbons and petrochemical commodities supplied to Tatarstan small and medium enterprises for further processing was approved at the meeting.
Director of the Catalyse Institute Valentin Parmon reported on holding the European Congress of Catalysis, EuropaCat-XII in Kazan in 2015. According to him, it is a primary and demonstrative event for chemists and chemical companies from Europe concerned. Kazan was able to win the right to host the workshop in highly competitive environment, he said.
On 5 February Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin took part in ceremony of awarding winners of the regional competition “The Woman of the Year. The Man of the Year: A Woman’s View” held at the Korston Leisure and Recreation Center in Kazan.
On 4 March at a briefing in the Government House of the republic Tatarstan Minister of Land and Property Relation Fanil Agliullin told about changes in land legislation enforced from 1 March of the current year. He said that they simplify a number of procedures for land plot owners including expanding the possibilities for land use and changing the rules for changing the category of a plot.
On 2 March in her address on the occasion of the Mentor’s Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva congratulated residents of the republic with the event and wrote: “Since 2025 this holiday established by Russian President Vladimir Putin has occupied a worthy place in the calendar of significant dates of our country, emphasizing the high status and significance of the mentoring mission.
On 28 February, speaking at a meeting held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Director of the Fund “The Institute of Development of Tatarstan Cities” Nailya Nagumanova informed about preparation to the implementation of the Our Yard programme in the republic.
