Major repair of multi-apartment houses under 2015 programme started in Tatarstan

On January 10, at a regional meeting at Tatarstan Government House held by Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov, First Deputy Minister of Construction, Architecture, Housing and Utilities Farit Khanifov reported on developing programmes for 2015.
In particular, the following programmes will be implemented in 2015: “Major repair of multi-apartment houses”, “Major repair of educational organizations (schools)”, “Major repair of children’s recreation camps”, “Providing accessibility of schools”, “Repair of heating systems at social objects”, “Changing heating systems for double-pressure boilers”, “Reinstalling lighting in rural areas”, “Construction of buildings for veterinary services and major repair of buildings of agricultural administrations”, “Major repair of cow sheds and construction of hay trenches”.
Three programmes are being approved, - “Parks and squares”, “Water supply”, and “Major repair of teen clubs”. Ildar Khalikov asked to carry out all necessary approval procedures next week and start implementing the programmes.
According to Farit Khanifov, 4.7 billion roubles will be allocated for major repair of 999 multi-apartment houses, 2.33 billion roubles – for major repair of 126 schools, 104.85 million roubles – for major repair of 12 children’s recreation camps in 2015. Moreover, individual heating systems will be installed in 4,349 flats, 11,702 street lights will be installed in villages.

On February 3, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin took part in a ceremony of opening XXI All-Russia competitions in fire-rescue sports for the Cup of the Tatarstan Prime Minister, held in the gym of the Chief Department of the Russian Emergencies Ministry for Tatarstan with participation of 21 teams from various regions of Russia - a total of about 430 people.
On 31 January, speaking at a meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with participation of the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and all municipality regions taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Deputy Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Damir Shaydullin reported that capital overhaul of nine school in eight municipalities of the republic has started.
On 28 January Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin took part in an extended joint meeting of the Main Directorate of Russian Emergencies Ministry for Tatarstan and a collegium of the Ministry for Civil Defense, Emergency Management and Natural Disaster Response of the republic which summarized results of work of the territorial subsystem of the unified state system for the prevention and elimination of emergency situations of the republic in 2025 and set tasks for 2026.
In his keyword report the Head of the Main Directorate Irek Kadamov informed that there were 3 758 man-caused fires in the republic which killed 128 people and injured 177. Through joint efforts, we have managed to reduce the number of man-caused fires by more than 10%, the number of injured by 12 per cent, however the number of killed increased by 13 people, he said.
