Work under the capital repair programme 2015 started in 370 of 999 multi-apartment houses in Tatarstan

On February 7, speaking at a video conference meeting held by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov at Tatarstan Government House with participation of all municipal regions, First Deputy Minister of Construction, Architecture, Housing and Utilities of the republic Farit Khanifov said that the works under the programme of capital repair of multi-apartment houses in 2015 have started in 370 of 999 houses in 39 municipal regions.
As for capital repair of schools in 2015, it was reported that as of February 6, works have started in 113 of 119 schools, including six special schools and six pre-school educational institutions.
Furthermore, a list of children's health camps to be renovated in 2015 was approved. This list included 13 children's camps with the total amount of funding of 72 million roubles.
Khanifov also told about the new programme of capital repair of youth clubs in 2015. Thus 28 youth clubs will be repaired amounting to 100 million roubles.
In 2015, it is planned to provide individual heating systems in 4349 apartments with the funding amounting to 162.2 million roubles.
The Minister also reported on the implementation of such programmes as water supply and reinstalling lighting in rural areas, the regional programme "Parks and Public Gardens”, relocation of citizens from dilapidated houses, etc.

On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
On 1 December Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin took part in N.I. Lobachevsky Prize and Medal Award Ceremony held in Kazan Federal University and handed in the award to the Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Chief Researcher of the St. Petersburg Department of Steklov Mathematical Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences Sergei Ivanov who was awarded for the outstanding achievements in fundamental and applied mathematics.
