Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov calls not to increase debt on payments to budget

On March 13, at its session at Tatarstan Cabinet of Ministers, the Economic Council chaired by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov discussed issues related to the introduction of informational and analytic system “Promotion of Tatarstan produce in external markets”, current indicators of socioeconomic development and the 2015 tax revenues".
Heads of all regions, city districts, enterprises and organizations of the republic took part in the meeting via video conferencing.
Minnikhanov noted that in 2015 the economic situation is developing tensely, with the fall in the production level in January. Payments to the consolidated budget decreased as well.
Rustam Minnikhanov emphasized the increase of tax debt by 11.5 per cent from the beginning of 2015. He called not to increase debt on payments to the budget and strengthen work of the state and municipal authorities in this area.
Head of the Tatarstan Department of the Federal State Statistic Service Valery Kandilov reported that the manufacture index amounted to 99.3 per cent in January-February 2015.
He told in details about informational and analytic system “Promotion of Tatarstan produce in external markets.” It was proposed to carry out regular monitoring of the regional producers, research market conditions, evaluate situations in foreign markets and analyze potential competitors. Consumer food, non-food products, capital goods will be monitored.
Head of the Tatarstan Directorate of the Federal Tax Service Marat Safiullin reported about tax revenues and debts to the consolidated budget in 2015. He noted the decrease of revenues on tax income, excise taxes on alcohol and alcoholic beverages in January-February compared to the same period in 2014. At the same time, revenues on personal income tax, land and transport taxes went up.
Also, Safiullin said about expected volume of tax revenues to the consolidated budget for the first quarter of 2015, tax control measures and work with current tax debts.
On 18 May ay the CIPR conference in Nizhniy Nogorod the Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Roman Shaykhutdinov, the Rector of the Innopolis University Aleksandr Gasnikpov and the Vice-rector of the University Yevgeny Bobrov will take part at round tables session of the conference.
Experts will discuss the role of Tatarstan and Innopolis as one of the key technological centers of the country and how regional innovative platforms help to solve tasks of the whole Russian industry. A special emphasis will be placed on the digital transformation of the oil and gas sector and how large clusters and scientific and technological centers are becoming drivers of industry change.
On 16 May, speaking at a meeting in the Government House of the republic held by the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin with participation of the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Minister of Agriculture and Food of the republic Marat Zyabbarov reported that the sowing of spring crops is in full swing in the republic with 1m 38 thousand hectares or 61 per cent of the planned have been sown.
On May 14, on the sidelines of the XVII International Economic Forum “Russia-the Islamic World: KazanForum”, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and Head of the Federal Service for Accreditation Dmitry Volvach signed an agreement on interaction and cooperation in the development of the halal industry.
On May 14, Prime Minister of Tajikistan Kokhir Rasulzoda, who arrived on a working visit in Kazan to take part in the events of the XVII International Economic Forum “Russia-the Islamic World: KazanForum”, was met by Prime Minister of the republic Aleksey Pesoshin and other officials at the Kazan International Airport.
