468.7 square metres of housing commissioned in Tatarstan as of March 13

On March 16, at a regional meeting at the Tatarstan Government House held by the President Rustam Minnikhanov, Minister of Construction, Architecture, Housing and Utilities Irek Faizullin said that the Labour Inspection carried out 242 inspections from the beginning of 2015. 79 resolutions for the sum of 2 million 319 thousand roubles for violation of labour safety rules have been passed. During the same period 53 organizations have been brought to disciplinary responsibility.
Faizullin told about regional contest “Best enterprise and construction organization of the Republic of Tatarstan in the sphere of ensuring labour safety” that is held in order to intensify work on improving labout conditions and prevention of industrial injuries in the republic. The contest has been held since 2004.
According to Faizullin, 468.7 square metres of housing have been commissioned in Tatarstan as of March 13. 22 houses have been constructed under social mortgage programme, and 21 rental houses are to be built in 2015. Also, houses for 65 WWII veterans are being built in the republic.
It was noted that a tranche of 427.6 million roubles was allocated to the republic. 128 million roubles will be allocated from the regional budget to provide housing for families with 5 and more children.
Moreover, implementation of the programme “Housing for Russian families”, which implies construction of 1.5 million square metres of low-income housing, started in Tatarstan.
Faizullin also reported on the programme of relocating citizens from dilapidated houses.

On 5 February Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin took part in ceremony of awarding winners of the regional competition “The Woman of the Year. The Man of the Year: A Woman’s View” held at the Korston Leisure and Recreation Center in Kazan.
On 4 March at a briefing in the Government House of the republic Tatarstan Minister of Land and Property Relation Fanil Agliullin told about changes in land legislation enforced from 1 March of the current year. He said that they simplify a number of procedures for land plot owners including expanding the possibilities for land use and changing the rules for changing the category of a plot.
On 2 March in her address on the occasion of the Mentor’s Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva congratulated residents of the republic with the event and wrote: “Since 2025 this holiday established by Russian President Vladimir Putin has occupied a worthy place in the calendar of significant dates of our country, emphasizing the high status and significance of the mentoring mission.
On 28 February, speaking at a meeting held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Director of the Fund “The Institute of Development of Tatarstan Cities” Nailya Nagumanova informed about preparation to the implementation of the Our Yard programme in the republic.
