Prime minister of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov: Forum a new event in Russia

Prime minister of Republic Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov took part in a final plenary session of a sports forum "Russia - sports power ". We remind, that the first All-Russia sports forum is taking place in Kazan, on October 22-25, (KRK "Korston").

Vice-premier of the RF Government Alexander Zhukov opened the session. As he said, the forum in Kazan is organized and held at the highest level. "The forum became a notable mark in sports movement of Russia ", - he said.

Minister of sports, tourism and youth policy of Russia Vitaly Mutko stated that the sports forum in Russia becomes the annual, traditional event. He noted also that "there is an opportunity to realize all decisions which are discussed today" because President of Russia Dmitry Medvedev participates in a forum.

Addressing the participants of the forum, Prime minister of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, in turn, declared, that the forum has become a new event in Russia. As he said, the Edict of the President of Russia (on holding the forum "Russia - sports power") has changed the attitude to sports of all us, "the authorities and business began to look in another way at these questions - on developing physical training, on professional sports ".

Prime minister of Tatarstan thanked Ministry of sports of Russia for cooperation in organization and holding a forum. "For Kazan this forum became a sign event, - Rustam Minnikhanov said. - it is possible it still would return here. We tried to show, everything, that has been done ".

Besides Rustam Minnikhanov reminded, that Russia would host Olympic Games of 2014 and Universiade 2013. He expressed confidence that the world championship on football of 2018, probably, too would pass in Russia. "I hope, that the world championship on football is also manageable for us ", - RT Prime minister said.

Alexander Zhukov making comments on statement of the head of the RT Government presumed that prior Universiade 2013 that Council under President of the Russian Federation on physical culture and sports would be held.

"The level of organization and holding a present forum in Kazan is very high ", - Mr. Zhukov said. He also thanked the companies, the sponsors of the action, among which "Tatneft ".
On results of the forum the resolution will be accepted. Its final edition will contain all offers and the editing, arrived during today's final plenary session, Alexander Zhukov told.
