Two-month sanitary and ecological campaign starts in Tatarstan

On March 31, speaking at a briefing at Tatarstan Government House, Deputy Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources - Chief Inspector of nature protection of the republic Ramil Nizamov said that the two-month sanitary and ecological campaign will start in Tatarstan on April 1.
According to him, such campaigns have been held in Tatarstan for several years. In 2014 1,217 unauthorized waste disposal sites with a total area of over 556,000 square meters were revealed.
He pointed out that within the framework of the sanitary and environmental campaign unauthorized dumps detected by supervisory authorities will added to a geographic information system "Environmental Map of the Republic of Tatarstan» (karta.tatar.ru). Further, all municipalities will be able to daily monitor the current situation. All appeals received from residents will be processed and added to the ecological map as well.
On 17 April Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin took part in an ad-hoc meeting of the Pestretsy municipality Council of the republic, where he introduced the new Acting Head of the Executive Committee of the region Rais Suleymanov who replaced the Head of the Committee Vadim Nikitin who submitted an application about early termination of his appointment.
On April 16, at their meeting in Innopolis, Deputy Prime Minister of Tatarstan Roman Shaykhutdinov, the delegation of Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade headed by the Director of the Department of Regional Industrial Policy Ivan Kulikov and Director General of Innopolis Special Economic Zone Renat Khalimov discussed the areas of cooperation related to the development of the production sector of the Innopolis innovation center in the high-tech industries.
On 16 April, speaking at a briefing in the Government House of the republic, Tatarstan Minister of Forestry Ravil Kuzyurov informed that the republic is planning to carry out work in forest reproduction and forestation at the area of 2 500 hectares.
On 15 April in the Government House of the republic, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin held a meeting of the Tatenergo Company Board of Directors, where its participants discussed results of work of the company in 2023, outcomes of sales of electricity and heat energy, implementation of the capital construction plan and the investments programme.
