Prime Minister of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov held meeting with Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Ireland to Russia Philip McDonagh at the House of RT Government

RT Prime Minister of Republic Rustam Minnikhanov held meeting with recently appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ireland to the Russian Federation Mr Philip McDonagh.
The visit was of awareness -raising character.
During a meeting, the point was about developing bilateral cooperation in sphere of the economy, innovations, culture and education.
RT Prime Minister, in particular, noted, that had an honour to visit Ireland. He also thanked Mr Ambassador for the shown interest to the regions of Russia.
Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ireland to Russia has been received also in the Kazan Kremlin by President of Tatarstan Mintimer Shaimiev.

On 10 January, speaking at a meeting held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin in the Government House of the republic with all municipality regions taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatutllin informed that in the current year the Ministry will take part in implementation of five national projects and three state programmes with planned construction and capital overhaul of 172 facilities for the total sum of 17bn rubles.
On 10 January, speaking at a meeting held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin in the Government House of the republic with all municipality regions taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Agriculture and Food Marat Zyabbarov informed that it is expected to achieve a comparable growth of produce of 1.5%, including that in food production - at least 2.6% in the agricultural sector.

On 4 January Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin, who is the First Deputy Chairman of the Commission of prevention and elimination of emergency situation and ensuring fire safety of the republic, has taken a decision to put into operation the “Buran” (Snow storm) plan in Tatarstan starting from 2 pm on 4 January until the consequences of adverse meteorological events are eliminated by ministries, departments and organizations which ensure the smooth movement of road and rail transport in winter.

On 3 January on the errand from the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin, who is the First Deputy Chairman of the Commission of prevention and elimination of emergency situations and ensuring fire safety of the republic , held an urgent meeting of the Commission which discussed readiness of forces and means to ensure security during the New Year and Christmas holidays.
