Rustam Minnikhanov requires tightly controlling food expenses and organization of catering services at educational, medical and social organizations

On April 20, at a regional meeting of financial, treasury, and tax agencies of the republic on results of consolidated budget execution in the first quarter of 2015 and tasks for 2015, Interim President of the republic Rustam Minnikhanov recuired tightly controlling food expenses and organization of catering services at educational, medical and social organizations.
Minnikhanov noted that despite decrease in the amount of rendered services, food expenses increased by 1.5 times in comparison with the same period last year. Ministries and local authorities should tightly control the situation and not allow unreasonable application of budgetary funds, he stated.
According to the Minister of Finances of the republic Radik Gaizatullin, despite quite quality budget execution in the first quarter of 2015, reasonable application of budgetary funds is still an urgent issue. He noted that the monitoring of expenses of the consolidated budget for food and medication was carried out. It showed that state institutions spend budgetary funds more reasonably.
The amount of expenses for 2015 is expected to make 6.5 billion roubles.

On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.

On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
