Prime minister of Republic Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, chief of the Center of management on activity of special divisions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation, lieutenant general of militia Vladimir Gorshukov, minister of internal affairs of Republic Tatarstan Asgat Safarov, also staff, their families and militia veterans took part in an opening ceremony.

Building works of the 6-storeyed administrative-household case of base of OMON begun in 2002. The total area makes 6000 square metres. On the ground floor there are an assembly hall, a medical unit, a staff, personnel premises, a shooting gallery. The floors from 2nd to 6th include 23 one-room apartments per each one.

It is necessary to add that for last 2 years, the Ministry of Internal Affairs on РТ have constructed 5 apartment houses apartments in which have been received by 688 Tatarstan militiamen families.
