As of April 15, 666,900 square meters of housing commissioned in Tatarstan

On April 16, at Tatarstan Government House, speaking at a regional video-conference held by First Deputy Prime Minister of the republic Aleksey Pesoshin with participation of all municipalities, Tatarstan Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing and Utilities Irek Faizullin said that as of April 16, 666,900 square meters of housing have been commissioned in Tatarstan.  

Faizullin reported that as of April 15, 52 houses with a total area of 72,300 square meters (for 1,283 apartments) have been put into operation under the social mortgage programme.

The Minister reminded that 32 houses with a total area of 50,100 square meters are planned to be built under the rental housing programme in 2016. As of today, construction and installation works have been completed at 12 objects.

He went on to report on the implementation of the programme to improve WWII veterans’ living conditions, saying that construction of 17 houses for 98 veterans is underway in the republic.

It is planned to provide housing for 38 large families, having five and more children in 2016. Faizullin reported that as of April 10, all families have been issued certificates.

As for providing housing for young families in Tatarstan, the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports of the republic has forwarded a list of 77young families, who will receive subsidies, to the State Housing Fund of the republic.

Faizullin also reported on construction of corporate housing for local police commissioners and cooperative housing projects.

Executive Director of the State Housing Fund under Tatartsan President Talgat Abdullin made a report on the implementation o f the social mortgage programme.
