Ildar Khalikov hands in awards to winners of the first regional contest «Tatarstan Top Hotels Awards» and «Tatarstan Top Restaurants Awards»
On October 28, Acting Tatarstan President Ildar Khalikov handed in awards to winners of the first professional contest «Tatarstan Top Hotels Awards» and «Tatarstan Top Restaurants Awards» at Riviera Hotel and Entertainment Complex in Kazan.
The contest was organized by ANO “Center of tourism development of the Republic of Tatarstan” under the auspices of the State committee on tourism of the Republic of Tatarstan.
Aide to Tatarstan President Olesya Baltusova, Chairman of the State committee on tourism of the Republic of Tatarstan Sergey Ivanov, and other officials attended the event.
Ildar Khalikov thanked representatives of hotel and restaurant business for their hard work. He noted that more than 90 per cent of hotels managed to stay in the market notwithstanding all difficulties, and he hears positive reviews about hotels and restaurants from partners of Universiade and FINA World Championship outside the republic.
In the contest «Tatarstan Top Hotels Awards» Relita-Kazan hotel was ranked first, LUCIANO Residence Kazan – second, and Courtyard Marriott Kazan Kremlin – third.
The best Tatarstan restaurants were chosen in 15 nominations of the contest «Tatarstan Top Restaurants Awards».
The winners of the contests became nominees for the contest “Leader of tourism-2016”.
