On January 12, during his working trip to Moscow, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov accompanied by Director of the gallery Zelfira Tregulova, Russian Deputy Minister of Culture Aleksandr Zhuravsky, Aide to Tatarstan President Natalia Fishman, and Tatarstan Minister of Culture Airat Sibagatullin visited Tretyakov State Gallery.
Rustam Minnikhanov was shown around the exhibition “Roma Aeterna. Masterpieces of the Vatican Pinacotheca” representing pictures of Bellini, Raphael, and Caravaggio.
At a roundtable meeting Rustam Minnikhanov and Zelfira Tregulova discussed development of bilateral cooperation between the gallery and Tatarstan museums.
Zelfira Tregulova informed that 56 pictures from Tretyakov Gallery and 22 pictures from the State museum of fine arts of the Republic of Tatarstan will be presented at the exhibition that opens in Kazan on April 26.
The Agreement on cooperation was signed between Tatarstan Ministry of culture and Tretyakov State Gallery.
