Rustam Minnikhanov invites Saxony's Prime Minister Stanislaw Tillich to visit Tatarstan

On March 8, at their meeting in Leipzig (Germany), Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhnov and Saxony's Prime Minister Stanislaw  Tillich discussed issues related to further cooperation between the regions. 

Tillich greeted Minnikhanov and thanked him for taking part in the international industrial exhibition "Z / Intec-2017".

In his turn, Minnikhanov noted that he was glad to visit the Free State of Saxony again. Cooperation between our regions is a good contribution to strengthening Russia-Germany relations, he said.

Minnikhanov said that during his trip he had visited AMTES GmbH's production facilities, had a meeting with representatives of the Tatar Youth Organization "Argamak", and also visited the BMW Group plant and business accelerator for start-ups SpinLab.

Tatarstan President noted the excellent organization of the programme of a stay of the Tatarstan delegation in Leipzig and expressed his gratitude for the hospitality.

Minnikhanov invited Stanislaw  Tillich to visit Kazan again and reminded about the existing agreement to hold the next meeting of the Tatarstan-Saxon working group in Kazan on June 21, 2017  on the threshold of the football match between Germany and Chile, which will be held during the FIFA Confederations Cup.

Tillich thanked Minnikhanov for the invitation and called cooperation with Tatarstan partners a good opportunity to enter the Russian market.
